Derrick “DC” Chatman is best known for his work in radio. He released his first book in 2016, a comedy called Livin’ in the Mortuary. He dedicated the book to his mother and god-mother who both passed away before he finished writing the book.
While working on my new book Plastic Reality: Processing Cosmetic Surgery, I was so moved by a story I read about a woman who was dealing with rejection from her husband. She sought out plastic surgery as a way to be “re-born” after her husband left her for a younger woman. My heart broke for the woman and many others like her. I had to stop to bring a word of encouragement for women experiencing the grief of marital rejection.
I’m talking about my new book Plastic Reality: Processing Cosmetic Surgery – which will be coming out later this year. We overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony (Rev. 11).

I’m so proud of Angelena Cortello – she did an amazing job this morning promoting her book on TV. I loved how she gave God all the glory! She came across professionally and just did an all around great job!!
We all do things we regret. As you repent from your sin, allow the love, grace and forgiveness of God to set you free. When your heart condemns you, God is greater than your heart (1 John 3:20).

So I decided to try something new and make a video blog… I’m not happy that I have no choice as to what crazy-looking frame YouTube chooses to freeze on the front of my video, but here it is just the same.
